This course is based on the training developed by Rivard's Resources: IPM, Boston Housing Authority, Boston University, National Center for Healthy Housing, and the Pennsylvania IPM Program. Input was provided by the project's Advisory Committee (PDF).

It was developed by the Northeastern IPM Center for USDA's CSREES and is funded by US Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control. The course uses the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Guidance on Integrated Pest Management as the framework for an effective IPM program. Many thanks to all who have sent comments that helped revise and refine the training to create a product that can be used by many.
