- The National Pesticide Information Center: Fact sheets, pesticide databases, and a well-staffed hotline make NPIC a valuable resource.
- eXtension: Fact sheets from your local university. (If you can't find what you're looking for, try these university sites.)
- Bio-Integral Resource Center: Online publications about structural and landscape pests.
- Techletter.com: Pest control publications, information, and resources.
- BedBug Central: An informative source of information on bed bugs from the pest control industry.
Local Expertise
Good sources of local IPM expertise:
- A nearby college or university
- Do they have an entomology department with someone who specializes in urban IPM?
- Contact your state IPM coordinator and ask for help.
- Your Cooperative Extension office.
- A reputable pest control company
- Look in the phonebook.
- Contact your state pesticide control regulation agency and get a list of registered companies in your area.
- Search companies that are members of the National Pest Management Association.
